If you are looking for holistic midwifery care and want to birth at the hospital, this option is for you. You will receive the same personalized prenatal / postpartum midwifery care that we offer to all clients, with the option for a midwife to come with you to the hospital acting in a doula support role. This may be a great fit if your pregnancy is higher-risk, or if you feel safer in a hospital setting.

Your prenatal care visits will be scheduled on a monthly basis until 28-30 weeks, every other week from 30-36 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until delivery.  Unlike other models of care in which visits typically last for 5-15 minutes, you will receive 45 minutes of personalized care from a midwife and our staff. This gives us plenty of time to get to know one another and to educate you so that you are equipped with enough information to make informed decisions regarding you and your baby’s care. We welcome your partner, children and support figures to join you for visits.

We also offer newborn care simultaneously with postpartum maternal care in our practice. This includes lactation assistance, weight checks, and other routine infant care. Postpartum care includes continued on-call support from the midwives, physical assessments, and depression screenings and support.

The fee for Easy Access Midwifery Care is $3000.00. This includes all prenatal care (approximately 10-15 visits) and three newborn and maternal postpartum visits.

Doula support at your hospital delivery is optional and incurs additional fees.    

If during your pregnancy you decide that you would like to switch your birth plan from a hospital delivery to the birth center or home, we welcome you to do so.  However, this decision must be made by 36 weeks and a new contract with our practice will be made.
