If you are concerned about a lump or bump in your breast, a breast ultrasound is a non-invasive screening tool that can provide useful information. These ultrasounds are interpreted by board certified radiologists.
This scan can be performed at or after 16 weeks to determine the sex of the baby. This is a non-diagnostic scan that lasts about 30 minutes, images can be placed onto a USB thumb drive if you bring it to your appointment.
After 28 weeks of pregnancy, you could do this fun scan that gives you 3D images like the one at the bottom of this page. After 45-60 minutes, you will leave this non-diagnostic scan with a USB of images and even a short video if your little one cooperates!
Susan can also perform routine obstetric scans like anatomy scans, biophysical profiles, and more. Diagnostic scans are also available for non-Brookhaven families with a midwife’s or doctor’s referral. Please call for more information regarding diagnostic scan pricing.
