Job Posting-Part time Office Assistant
Brookhaven Birth Center is seeking an experienced office assistant with a passion for healthy living, natural childbirth, breastfeeding, and the Midwives Model Of Care.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones, scheduling appointments, daily correspondence, accounts receivable, creating a monthly newsletter, updating multiple social media sites, as well as light cleaning. Additionally, your opinion matters, so be ready to be part of our team and know that sharing your ideas is encouraged.
Brookhaven is seeking an organized, cheerful, self-motivated, fast learner that is ready to jump in and join our thriving established business. Of utmost importance is to maintain the professionalism, decorum and pleasant environment that we all deserve to work in.
Hours: Two days per week, Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, other day flexible between Monday or Tuesday-two flex hours working from home on social media. Average 18 hours per week.
Pay: Commensurate with experience.
Minimum Requirements: Excellent verbal, social, clerical and editorial skills. Social networking experience (Facebook, WordPress, Mailchimp,Instagram). The ability to manage several projects and multitask, as well as excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. Positive attitude toward cultural diversity is essential, as we serve a very diverse population.
We expect anyone we hire to be passionate about midwifery care and out of hospital birth.
